Toyah's Quirky Wedding in Eddy K

How did your partner propose?

On one knee on the Brighton wheel (no longer there anymore, sorry been engaged 7 years)

What’s the best piece of advice you received in the run up to your wedding?

Enjoy all the planning and don’t loose sight of what the day truly means to you both

How did you go about finding your wedding dress?

I tried 5 shops until I met you lovely ladies at Fross

How many dresses did you try on before you found ‘the one’?

Couldn’t tell you.... 30 ish

Do you know the name of your dress designer?

What made you fall in love with the dress that you chose?

Everything apart from what the seamstress altered I wouldn’t of changed a thing about the dress, that’s when you know it’s the one. When you love all of it. Every time I tried it on it just got better!!!

Did you wear a veil and/or any other bridal accessories?

Veil that’s all

Tell us a little about your wedding day – the vibe, what inspired you, etc.

We chose a typical Brighton venue, that was quirky and represented us, nothing to formal or serious. It felt right we’ve been together 15 years and have 3 sons so it was celebrating our journey so far and for many many more years to come.

What was your favourite moment from the day itself?

The ceremony, officially becoming Mrs Fordham, couldn’t be happier.

Is there any advice you would be happy to share with other brides?

Keep a journal/ diary with all your lists, contacts details and information in, so it’s all in one place. Remember it’s your wedding do what you both want not anyone else. It’s what you make it, enjoy it and share the planning with people that are special , they love being involved.

Are you taking a honeymoon and if so when (in relation to your wedding, ie, immediately after, or sometime later) and what are your plans?

We went 2 days after our wedding for 6 nights to Santorini was bliss. Didn’t want our bubble to burst.
