We thought this blog piece would be a wonderful opportunity to give you an insight into what goes on behind the scenes of one of ‘Fross Wedding Collections’ photoshoots.
On Monday, 13th November the whole team ventured down to Lewes Castle for our seasonal photoshoot.
Lewes castle had a delightful atmosphere which was complimented by the beauty of our six models.
We were lucky enough to be graced with beautiful weather on the day of the shoot (well for those with thick coats).
Despite the freezing temperature, the general vibes of the shoot were ultimately very positive.
The bridal shoot team:
Makeup: Grace Benson
The make-up artists went for an elegant yet natural look for the models, keeping in style with the sleek dresses and hair.
Hair: Lisa Torrance
The hairdressers made the models hair look elegantly stunning. With six models waiting to have their hair done Lisa Torrance worked with speed, precision and skill. You couldn’t get a more professional styling if you tried!!
Photographer: Stuart James & Assistant Dave Daniels.
The photographers (Stuart & Dave) did a fantastic job of making sure that they got the best shot of each dress. A very charismatic duo, they definitely made the models feel at ease, this mixed with some friendly banter led to an extremely easy going and fun working environment for the whole team.
Masters of their craft, Stuart and Dave have the unique skill of bringing the dresses to life through their perfect choices of natural backdrops/backgrounds. Their professionalism doesn’t hold them back from having a bit of fun, as can be seen below where they made Georgina (aka Gary) pose with a dustbin.
We had six models:
We had a range of fifteen dresses to be worn by the models which were a range of four different designers consisting of:
Bright Young Things PR
On the day we were joined by Patrick, Jack, Lara and Amy from Bright Young Things PR agency. Here is what they thought of the day...
After spending a full day working alongside Fross and her team it becomes obvious as to what makes ‘Fross Wedding Collections’ so special and unique compared to the competition; Fross herself.
There wasn’t one minute that went by without Fross asking if everyone was okay, if they needed anything or if they wanted another cuppa. It goes without saying that the dresses she sells are truly stunning, but what makes her and her business stand out amongst the rest is that extra step she will go to make her customers, team and everyone around her happy.
The day out at Lewes Castle didn’t feel like work, it felt like a family day out and every single person present that day had a part in creating the wonderful atmosphere that followed us throughout.
